Stress is the body's response to changes, whether they are internal or external. It can also be caused by natural elements that affect an individual. While stress is typically viewed negatively due to its accumulation in our lives, it can be both positive and negative.


Almost 75% of the population experiences stress every two weeks. It is also believed that stress can lead to heart disease, high blood pressure, strokes, and other illnesses. In addition, it can weaken our immune system, which is responsible for protecting us from serious diseases.


Many different stressors can cause stress, such as physical, emotional, internal, or external factors. For example, physical conditions like pain or extreme temperatures can be a stressor, as can stressful environments like poor working conditions or unhealthy relationships. It's important to identify these stressors so that steps can be taken to adapt to the situation.

Knowing that we cannot avoid stress we must know the symptoms. Now, to lessen our stress we should learn how to manage it. Here are some tips for reducing stress.


1. Do yourself a favor and buy something that will give you comfort.


2. Make yourself busy doing more enjoyable activities.


3. Learn to moderate your physical reactions to stress.


4. If necessary, have some nature tripping that will help you feel more relaxed.


5. After busy working days, treat yourself to a vacation.


6. Take a short break every after meal to relax.


7. Always wear clothes that are comfortable to you whenever possible.


8. Express yourself, and avoid being too secretive about what you feel.


9. Eat a well-balanced and nutritious meal.


If you find yourself experiencing stress, follow the aforementioned tips without hesitation. These methods are not only safe but may also assist in ameliorating your condition.

Furthermore, you must prioritize self-care as the consequences of neglecting your well-being may result in deleterious effects. It is important to keep in mind that stress has been known to contribute to various life-threatening ailments, and as such, it is paramount to act with gentleness towards oneself.
